Why Choose Us - Because We Use Small Lawn Mowers

At Mowing Again, we use small residential size mowers with a 21” cutting width because they are gentler on your lawn and property.  Large commercial mowers can leave ruts, damage grass, and impact rock beds, gates, and fences.  Smaller mowers like we use allow for a clean, precise cut, preserving the health of your lawn while delivering a beautiful, professional appearance.

About Us

At Mowing Again, we do one thing and we do it exceptionally well: Lawn Mowing. By focusing exclusively on mowing, we’ve honed our skills, equipment, and process to deliver a consistently beautiful lawn for every customer in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

We are a local, family-owned business, living and working in the same neighborhoods where we provide our services.  That means we care about your lawn as much as we care about our own, and we take pride in being reliable, trustworthy, and part of the community.

Why Our Customers Love Us

Small Mowers, Big Benefits

We use small residential mowers with a 21” cutting width, which are easier on your lawn and landscaping.  Unlike large commercial mowers that can leave ruts, damage rock beds, or harm fences and gates, our mowers provide a clean, precise cut, preserve the health of your grass, and keep your property looking its best.

High-Quality, Consistent Service

Because we focus solely on lawn mowing, we can give your lawn the attention it deserves.  Every visit is done right, every time.  We show up, maintain your edges, trim around obstacles, and make sure your lawn looks great after every service.

Personalized, Local Care

Being a small company allows us to develop real relationships with our customers.  We know our clients by name, understand the unique needs of each property, and provide service with a personal touch that larger companies can’t match.  You’re not just another number we care about your lawn like it’s our own.

Dependable and Professional

We value your time and your lawn.  You can count on us to arrive as scheduled, provide consistent, top-quality service, and handle your property respectfully.  Our reputation in Highlands Ranch is built on trust, quality, and reliability.

Environmentally Friendly Practices

We mulch all grass clippings, which keeps moisture in the soil, recycles nutrients back into the lawn, and reduces waste.  It’s a natural, environmentally friendly approach that keeps your lawn healthy while doing our part for the community.

At Mowing Again, we aren’t trying to do everything, we’re focused on doing one thing better than anyone else.  Our passion, local roots, and attention to detail make us the go-to lawn mowing service in Highlands Ranch.

Frequently Asked Questions

At Mowing Again, we use small residential size mowers with a 21” cutting width because they are gentler on your lawn and property. Large commercial mowers can leave ruts, damage grass, and impact rock beds, gates, and fences. Smaller mowers like we use allow for a clean, precise cut, preserving the health of your lawn while delivering a beautiful, professional appearance.

We service your property on a recurring weekly schedule; however, we do not guarantee a specific day of the week. Route days may shift due to weather, holidays, equipment maintenance, or planned staff vacations. We ensure service is completed within your weekly scheduled service interval.

If your dog is friendly and accustomed to strangers, it may remain outside during service. However, if your dog is protective, aggressive, or unsure around new people or equipment, we ask that you please secure them indoors.  This ensures the safety of your pet and our crew.

Dogs and Gates

Our team makes every effort to ensure gates are closed and latched after service; however, we cannot assume responsibility for gates or security.  We understand that pets are important members of your family.  For safety, please check gates and the security of your property after your lawn has been mowed.

Pet Waste:

We kindly ask that all pet waste be picked up prior to your scheduled mowing day. Pet waste can stick to mowing equipment and be thrown by trimmers, creating an unsanitary and unpleasant situation for both our crew and your property.

We greatly appreciate your help in keeping the lawn clear before service. Thank you!

Yes. We provide weekly mowing because it promotes a healthier lawn. Mowing weekly helps ensure we never remove more than one-third of the grass blade at a time. Cutting more than one-third can stress the lawn, increase the risk of disease, and cause long-term damage. We do not offer bi-weekly lawn mowing or one time mowing services.

Our mowing season typically begins the second to third week of April and runs through the last week of October. Exact start and end dates may vary slightly depending on weather and grass growth each year.

We currently provide lawn mowing services exclusively in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

Other Services

At this time, Mowing Again only offers weekly lawn mowing for residential properties in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

Yes. All weekly mowing services automatically renew each season to ensure uninterrupted service. If you choose not to continue, we simply ask that you notify us in advance prior to the new season.

Yes. Mowing Again is fully insured and carries both general liability and business insurance coverage specific to our lawn mowing operations.

We allow one skip per mowing season. While service is billed weekly, pricing is based on a full season of consistent service. Maintaining a regular schedule ensures proper mowing height, prevents excess blade removal, and supports overall lawn health.

Yes.  Please ensure the lawn is clear of all items prior to your scheduled service, including toys, pet items, hoses, yard decorations, and debris.  This allows us to mow efficiently and prevents potential damage to your property or our equipment.

We also recommend not watering the day before or the day of service. Wet grass can impact cut quality.  The best practice is to schedule irrigation for the evenings to allow the lawn to dry before mowing

Our services are designed for seasonal lawn mowing.  A minimum 8-week commitment is required.  After the initial period, you may cancel services by notifying us in advance.

We mulch all grass clippings rather than bagging them.  Mulching is better for the environment because it reduces landfill waste, retains water and moisture in the lawn, and recycles nutrients back into the soil.  Grass clippings act as a natural fertilizer, adding nitrogen and supporting overall lawn health.

Payment Method

We accept credit or debit cards only, which are charged after each service is performed.  If a card is declined, service will resume once a valid card is provided.  Please ensure your card information is up to date, including expiration dates, to avoid any interruptions in service.

Long Grass

If your lawn has not been mowed for one or more weeks, it is considered long grass.  The first mowing for long grass is typically $90+.  Because we are removing a larger volume of grass at once, the lawn may appear slightly yellow, and extra clippings may be left behind.  It usually takes a couple of mowing services to restore the lawn to its optimal appearance.

Trimming refers to cutting grass around the exterior of the lawn and around obstacles such as trees, flower beds, or landscaping features.  Trimming is included with every mowing service.  Edging is the process of cutting along sidewalks, driveways, and other hard surfaces to maintain a clean boundary.

At Mowing Again, we edge with a trimmer, which allows us to maintain existing edges along sidewalks and driveways.  However, we are unable to cut back overgrown edges to the concrete, as our trucks do not carry the specialized equipment needed for heavy overgrowth. Regular maintenance ensures your edges stay neat and well-defined.
